Under Achievements Guide
This Achievement requires you to obtain 100 unique mounts. The reward is a Blue Dragonhawk. Be warned! This achievement is not for the faint of heart! You will likely spend insane amounts of time, money and effort to gain this achievement. This achievement is made possible by patch 3.0.8 which will remove the racial restrictions on many mounts. (Tauren Rejoice!)

He Knows If You’ve Been Naughty
Open one of the presents underneath the Winter Veil tree once they are available.
The presents are located under the tree near Greatfather Winter in front of the bank in Ironforge. They become available on December 25th and will remain active until January 2nd.
On Metzen!
Save Metzen the Reindeer.
Speak with Wulmort Jinglepocket in Ironforge, near the bank. Get the quest Metzen the Reindeer. You’ll find Metzen in Searing Gorge, northeast of the Cauldron and near the road leading to the Stonewrought Pass into Loch Modan. Coords 68, 34. Sprinkle the dust on him to complete your quest then return to Ironforge to turn in. Once complete, you will receive a gift in the mail that contains Graccu’s Mince Meat Fruitcake. Save it for another achievement!
With a Little Helper from My Friends
Earn 50 honorable kills as a Little Helper from the Winter Wondervolt Machine.
There is a list of locations for the Winter Wondervolt Machines but I recommend using the one just outside Ironforge at 53, 35. You simply need to step onto one to transform into a Little Helper for 30 minutes. Then go hop into a Battleground. Help kill folks for your Honorable kills but try to stay alive for as long as possible so you don’t loose your costume. I recommend doing this achievement with a group of friends in AV and choose a spot to defend.
Scrooge
Throw a snowball at King Magni Bronzebeard during the Feast of Winter Veil.
Snowballs can be picked up in any snowy climate zone but they can also be purchased from Wulmort Jinglepocket near the bank in Ironforge. Simply chuck a snowball at the King.
Fa-la-la-la-Ogri’la
Complete the Bomb Them Again! quest while mounted on a flying reindeer during the Feast of Winter Veil.
You must have access to the Ogri’la Daily Quests in order to do this quest. Preserved Holly or Fresh Holly will work for this achievement. Simply use the holly while mounted on a flying mount to turn it into a reindeer. Then, go complete the quest without being knocked off your mount or it will not count.
‘Tis the Season
During the Feast of Winter Veil, wear 3 pieces of winter clothing and eat Graccu’s Mince Meat Fruitcake.
You will need to commission a tailor and a leatherworker to have two of the three pieces crafted for you. The patterns for the Red Winter Clothes and Winter Boots are sold by Wulmort Jinglepocket in Ironforge. Winter Hats have a chance to drop off of any dungeon bosses. It’s 100% drop rate IF the boss is wearing the hat. If the boss is not wearing the hat, it won’t drop at all. To get the Mince Meat Fruitcake you simply need to save Metzen the Reindeer and it will be mailed to you.
Crashin’ & Thrashin’
Gain 25 crashes with your Crashin’ Thrashin’ Racer during the Feast of Winter Veil.
You can get this toy from any Winter Veil gift boxes. Use the controller to summon and control your racer and slam into other player’s racers to trigger a ‘crash’. The gift boxes are available to loot in Ironforge under the tree near the bank on December 25th through January 2nd.
Simply Abominable
Complete the quest to retrieve the stolen Smokywood Pastures’ stolen treats and receive a Smokeywood Pastures’ Thank You.
In Ironforge, get the quest Stolen Winter Veil Treats. Fly to Southshore and make your way into the Alterac Mountains. Turn in to a Strange Snowman at 35, 72, just south of the cave that is south of the Ruins of Alterac. Once turned in, get the follow-up quest You’re a Mean One… Search the area for an elite giant yeti whom you need to kill and loot. Return Ironforge to turn in and get the last quest A Smokywood Pastures’ Thank You. Turn in that too. Upon completion, you will be mailed a Winter Veil Disguise Kit, which you need for another achievement.
Let it Snow
During the Feast of Winter Veil, use a Handful of Snowflakes on each of the race/class combinations listed: Orc Death Knight, Tauren Shaman, Undead Rogue, Gnome Mage, Blood Elf Warlock, Human Warrior, Night Elf Druid, Troll Hunter, Dwarf Paladin, Draenei Priest.
Every chance you get, go /kiss a Winter Reveler for a chance to get a Handful of Snowflakes. Once you have some, I recommend hanging out around Dalaran to find the right race/class combos you need.
Bros. Before Ho Ho Ho’s
Use Mistletoe on the Alliance “Brothers” during the Feast of Winter Veil
Every chance you get, go /kiss a Winter Reveler for a chance to get Mistletoe.
Once you have enough Mistletoe, go use it on the NPCs listed below.
Brother Kristoff is standing just outside the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind.
Brother Joshua is inside the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind.
Brother Crowley is in the right basement of the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind.
Brother Cassius is in the library section of the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind.
Brother Benjamin patrols the main hall in the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind.
Brother Wilhelm is standing behind the Blacksmith in Goldshire in Elwynn Forest
Brother Nimetz is at the Rebel Camp in Stranglethorn Vale.
Brother Karman in standing near the training dummies next to the barracks in Theramore in Dustwallow Marsh.
Brother Anton is inside the Inn at Nijel’s Point in Desolace.
The Winter Veil Gourmet
During the Feast of Winter Veil, use your culinary expertise to produce a Gingerbread Cookie, Egg Nog and Hot Apple Cider.
All three recipes can be bought from Wulmort Jinglepocket. Hot Apple Cider mats can be purchased from the Winter Veil vendors. Egg Nog mats can mostly be purchased from vendors except for the Small Egg, which drops from any low level birds. Gingerbread Cookie mats also require a Small Egg and vendor purchasable spices. You will need 325 Cooking Skill.
A Frosty Shake
During the Feast of Winter Veil, use your Winter Veil Disguise kit to become a snowman and then dance with another snowman in Dalaran.
To get a Winter Veil Disguise Kit you need to complete the Greench questline and it will be mailed to you. Purchase a couple snowballs from Wulmort Jinglepocket to use the disguise and go plop yourself down in a crowded place in Dalaran and start dancing. You’re bound to draw some attention with other people wanting to complete this achievement. When another snowman joins you, be sure to target them and /dance to complete the achievement.
Horde
